UVI Leavers Enjoy a Retreat, Mass and Supper in Mary Ward House
The Upper Sixth retreat is always a highlight of the year as it gives leavers a chance to reflect upon their time at St Mary’s; the friendships they have forged, the values that they have contributed to the school as well as the values they will take with them into the wider world. This year’s retreat, based on the theme of ‘Leaving and Moving On’, took place in Salisbury. It began with a reflection followed by questions, activities and a talk about vocation and service as they continue their journey beyond St Mary’s.
The day culminated in a beautiful Leavers’ Mass and a buffet supper in Mary Ward house. The evening was a celebration of staff, parents and girls joining together for the first of many gatherings to say farewell.
